After a hugely successful inaugural festival last year the Great Cornish Sardine Festival will return to Newlyn over the August Bank Holiday – two days of celebrating sardines and the fishermen who catch them. The festival is all about the fish – from talking to the skippers and crews who catch them to watching local artists capture on canvas the historic luggers that fished for them over 100 years ago!
